Jack Spade Is Venturing out to Lunch Its First Eyewear Line
With Kate Spades New York eyewear assortment doing well in retail sales, it only makes sense that the menswear counterpart Jack Spade would be ready to give it a try.
The eyewear group company Safilo and Jack Spade men’s wear is completing the plans for an exclusive line of eyewear. With the current plan the Safilo company will design and produce the eyewear. Safilo will be responsible for the eyewear line until December 31, 2018.

The eyewear company Safilo will also be responsible for distributing both the fashionable sunglasses and the optical glasses through out North America. The Jack Spade men’s sunglasses collection will be both fashionable and trend setting. This collection will be available in February 2014, in top tier department stores along with specialty retailers. The optical part of the Jack Spades eyewear collection will not be released until April of next year and these will be available at specialized optical stores.

Both Craig Levitt CEO for Kate Spade LLC. and Luisa Delgado CEO of the Safilo group are very excited about this line of men’s glasses. They see the potential to expand men’s fashion trends in glasses and do a little trend setting. The Safilo company has a reputation to paying strict attention to craftsmanship, quality, design and detail. Each area is very important to a new product. These sun and optical glasses will soon make a name for themselves.
