Jennie Garth fans got a treat this week during New York’s Fashion Week! The recently divorced star and Dancing With The Stars alum surprised everyone when she made an appearance on the runway, rocking a Goth look!
Talk about a fun surprise for fans! Dancing With The Stars alum, Jennie Garth showed up on the runway for designer Aerin O’Connell’s Intrepid by AOC show at Pier 59 Studios during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday. The 41-year-old (and still hot) star donned a different look though, as she went Goth! Her short, grey and white dress wasn’t the unusual part, it was her makeup that had fans wondering if that was really Garth. Instead of her normal makeup, Garth was wearing very light powder, making her look extremely pale, along with very heavy blush and eye shadow. Finishing off her makeup was a very dark lip color, giving her an overall Goth look.
Despite the different look for Garth, she seemed to rock the runway, as one onlooker told US Weekly: “She was confident and looked powerful coming down the runway and had two friends in the audience who were cheering loudly for her.”
After the show, Garth admitted that she loved the look, but: “I felt nervous for the designer of this dress, I wanted to do well for her and have success for the line.” Despite her nerves, Jennie did well and the audience loved her, so it was definitely a win-win situation for everyone! As for the runway, Jennie says it is definitely “not her world.”
