Teen heartthrob and singing sensation and Justin Bieber has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. Haunted by controversy regarding his allegedly erratic behavior, the singer now appears to be making amends for his actions by raising funds for the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan who need urgent relief material and support.
Partnering with Prizeo as part of the relief effort, Bieber has reached out to his fans, by calling them “the best fans in the world”, and has appealed to them to make even a minimal donation towards the cause. The donors are then automatically entered into a contest, the winner of which will be given the opportunity to spend time with him at his studio. Wearing a wide range of designer glasses, Bieber elected to wear his trademark aviator glasses while making the announcement. He has also been spotted wearing a pair of orange lens glasses, which have immediately become a fashion must-have for his legions of fans.
Much like other celebrity glasses, any pair worn by Bieber becomes an immediate best seller. It is hoped that his involvement and endorsement of relief efforts will have the same effect and will serve to generate much needed funds towards the survivors of the devastating Typhoon which is responsible for causing damage to millions of people.
